DESCRIPTION

Also known as everready or everlasting onion. A rare and not well known but brilliant little plant that provides oniony tasting allium leaves. It’s a compact clump forming allium, small in stature so very resilient and works well interplanted with other species. The whole leaf and root of the leaf stem can be used as a spring onion - though normally we just pick the leaves. Occasionally white flowers on mature plants. Likes fertile, well drained soil.
