Packaging

Whilst we use plastic pots in the nursery, we aim to not send out any plastic pots. Any plastic you receive from us will be recycled plastic sheet wrapping plant roots. We use paper tape, wax paper and fibre string, where we can.

With the aim of reducing reliance on plastic we have invented our own plant labelling method! Our labels are (painstakingly, but) proudly made using paper print outs, wooden labels and rice glue.

Delivery

Presently we only deliver to addresses within the UK. We send to you via Royal Mail and Parcelforce.

Some of our plants will be sent bare rooted, but mostly with compost/soil. Look out for out of season notifications on plant pages. We probably sell/ship these during winter months whilst the plant is dormant or a tuber/rhizome.

Delivery can take 2-3 days, so it's important you open your delivery immediately and make sure the plants get water and air.

Processing time of orders will vary during the year and can take between 3-5 days to process. We will always aim to get them to you as soon as possible.

Returns

We want you to receive healthy plants that will survive and grow! Hopefully you'll never receive a poorly packaged or damaged plant from us.

In the event that you are ever unhappy with your purchase, please let us know via our contact form within 10 days of receipt and tell us the problem. We will resolve it as speedily as we can. Once planted in a pot or in the ground it cannot be considered returnable or refundable.
